Having made a tremendous imprint on metro urban retail mixed-use developments in Atlanta and the Southeast, the Braves organization turned to Fuqua Development, LP, as its retail development partner for SunTrust Park.

Jeffrey S. Fuqua, the founder of Fuqua Development, LP, has developed in excess of 14 million square feet in more than 80 projects valued at $4 billion in his 25 plus year career. Fuqua has put together a dynamic and seasoned development and leasing team with an extensive experience in the shopping center industry. Fuqua Development, LP, was named the Top Atlanta Retail Development by the Atlanta Retail Developer by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in 2014.

SunTrust Park
Centrally located on 74 acres in northwest Atlanta’s platinum triangle, this vibrant development seamlessly brings together the new SunTrust Park and surrounding community of shopping, dining, entertainment, living and working.

It will become the place to be – a new epicenter of activity and a sought after entertainment destination for the local community and families across the Southeast.

The initial phase of the project will total between 700,000 and 1,000,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, residential, hotel and office. The project is slated to open in Spring of 2017.

Restaurants and shops will be positioned along a spacious boulevard offering unique retail and dining options all year long.

Comcast will also become the Braves’ signature tenant in a multi-story office building and will provide high-speed Internet throughout project.

41,500 SEATS IN SUNTRUST PARK

The ballpark is designed with fans in mind and has a higher percentage of seats closer to the field than any other ballpark in the MLB.

6,000 parking spaces

The development will feature ample surface and structured parking with valet service.

600 upscale residences

Residences will feature upscale finishes and premier amenities – all within walking distance of shopping, dining and entertainment.

260 hotel rooms

The Omni Hotel will be located directly adjacent to SunTrust Park.

Indoor Entertainment Venue

A full-service venue will operate 50-70 times per year with a capacity of 3,500 people.

Outdoor Amphitheater

An outdoor amphitheater with grass seating will host events year-round.

3 Million + Visitors / Season

SunTrust Park will draw millions of visitors every season, providing additional support to retail and restaurant sales.
