new dining concept: caffe christina to go now open

ATLANTA (March 18, 2003) — Caffe Christina to go, the latest concept in dining, opened on February 21, 2003 at Villa Christina. Serving food and alcohol to go, only, the restaurant offers upscale lunch and dinner items. Diners can call or stop in to place an order, and enjoy a gourmet meal without the wait.

According to general manager, Adam Ghali, “Caffe Christina to go provides an alternative to fast food restaurants and pizza chains. The restaurant offers a quick lunch for businesspeople on the go or an easy dinner for busy moms. It’s great food at reasonable prices, with all the ease of just one phone call.”

The “to go-only” restaurant offers a variety of gourmet salads, burgers and wood-burning-oven pizzas, in addition to soft drinks, beer and wine. If diners seek an elegant picnic of gourmet salads and a nice bottle of wine, or a made-to-order dinner of pizza and beer to accompany Monday night football, then they will find it at Caffe Christina to go.

The moderately priced Caffe Christina to go menu features salads with a choice of fresh White Bean, Lentil or Caesar Salad topped with tasty Shrimp (Grilled or Tempura), Salmon or Chicken. It also boasts five unique types of burgers including the Traditional All American Hamburger, Rosemary Burger, Blue Cheese Burger, Mediterranean Burger and Pocket Burger—onion and parsley ground beef stuffed in pizza dough.

The menu also offers six specialty pizzas, a special pizza of the day and three heaping categories of toppings from which to choose to make-your-own pizza. The specialty pizzas include Margharita, The Goat and the Garden, Pepperoni, Oriental Chicken, Italian Punch and The Shrimp and the Crab. All pizzas come in two convenient sizes, Small (8”) and Large (16”).

Menu prices range from $6.00 to $8.00 for salads, $5.00 to $6.00 for burgers, and $5 to $10 for small pizzas and $9 to $14 for large pizzas. In addition to food items, refreshing beverages are available for take-out. Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Mineral Water come by the bottle, while domestic and imported beer comes by the six-pack. Red and white wines are also available by the bottle.
