The total is a $4,000 increase from last year.

The silent auction featured dinners at top Atlanta restaurants like Petite Auberge, Nikolai’s Roof, Rainwater, The Grille at 590 and Adam’s Garden of Eatin’, hotel stays at Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort and Renaissance Concourse Hotel, popular timepieces from It’s About Time, luxurious spa services from Spa Sydell, dinner at the 755 Club at Turner Field, a custom rug from Harof’s Custom Rug Design, rare wines and wine accessories, fine artwork from Eric Waugh and Thomas Arvid, two international business-class Delta Air Lines tickets and much more.

The third Wine Festival at Villa Christina, which will continue its annual support of Angel Flight of Georgia, is scheduled for Sunday, June 6, 2004. This year, the indoor-outdoor festival sponsored in-part by Jezebel Magazine, Coca-Cola, WJZZ, Millstone Coffee, Hines and Mercedes, featured almost 200 premium wines, gourmet food samples from nearly 30 restaurants, four live bands, three wine seminars with chef demonstrations, two raffles, a silent auction and tango and belly dancers.

Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and rose bushes, Villa Christina, 4000 Summit Boulevard, mirrors an Italian-style villa, complete with gourmet restaurant, four flexible meeting rooms, an elegant ballroom and an outdoor Event Pavilion. The restaurant offers eclectic Italian cuisine, market fresh seafood and an extensive wine list. In addition to the yearly Wine Festival, Villa Christina hosts weekly events such as Happy Hour and Date Night, as well as family and company picnics, reunions and holiday parties.
