villa christina and wjzz present the 2nd annual summer jazz series

ATLANTA (April 11, 2005) — As “Hotlanta” heats up, Villa Christina and WJZZ cool things down with some smooth jazz as they present The 2nd Annual Summer Jazz Series at Villa Christina. The Summer Jazz Series offers free jazz concerts all summer long in Villa Christina’s blooming rose gardens situated next to meandering streams and cascading waterfalls.

The Series consists of four complimentary concerts at Villa Christina, 4000 Summit Boulevard, on Sundays, June 26th, July 24th, and August 21st and September 11, 2005. Doors open at 4:00 p.m.; music begins at 5:30 p.m. All ages are welcome, and families should bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating.
Guests will enjoy an enchanted evening under the stars at Villa Christina and spend a summer night with family and friends while groovin’ to the City’s best free jazz. In addition, kids will keep busy with complimentary activities such as the ever-popular moonwalk. Plus, there will be a variety of vendors whose products and services will be available for purchase.

Villa Christina and Caffe Christina to go will offer food and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) for purchase on the premises. Guests will delight in delicacies including fresh shrimp and salmon salads, gourmet burgers stuffed with special seasonings and plump hot dogs with French fries, piping-hot pizza straight from the wood-burning-oven, tasty tiramisu, creamy cheesecake and so much more. No coolers are allowed.
